Terms of use
Last updated 22 October 2026
Domestic Directory is a listing and introduction service. It does not employ workers, act as a recruitment agency, guarantee work or make hiring decisions.
Worker profiles
Workers must provide accurate information, keep profiles current and obtain permission before supplying reference details. Profiles are free and remain subject to administrator approval, editing, hiding or removal where necessary to protect the directory and its users.
Employer responsibilities
Employers are responsible for interviews, identity and reference checks, suitability decisions, employment agreements, working conditions and compliance with applicable obligations. Directory approval is not a guarantee of identity, suitability or future conduct.
Acceptable use
Users may not submit false, abusive, discriminatory, unlawful or misleading content; impersonate another person; scrape personal information; send spam; or attempt to interfere with the website.
Enquiries
Employer enquiry details are sent to the selected worker. Workers decide whether to respond. Users should exercise care before sharing additional personal information or arranging meetings.
Availability
The service may change, experience interruptions or remove content. Domestic Directory does not guarantee that a profile will result in work or that a search will identify a suitable worker.
